I'm very excited to announce that I will be part of this years Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery
After a passionate display of boxing against a bigger opponent, Levi left the ring with blood on his face and tears in his eyes. Instead of walking away defeated, he stood to receive his runner-up award and let me take his portrait. Knowing this was a tough moment for him, I only took one frame.
The show was hosted by Double Jab ABC, a gym combatting knife crime in London by offering a controlled outlet for passion, energy and anger that teenagers experience growing up.
